I had such a positive experience with Dr. Bassichis and his staff. I recently had a CO₂ procedure, and I’ll admit I was a little nervous going into it. From the very beginning, though, he and his team explained everything thoroughly. They were kind, patient, and took the time to walk me through each step, answering all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed—and all of my concerns were addressed. During the procedure, I felt very well cared for. They checked on me often and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, which meant a lot. The surgery center itself was extremely clean and efficient, and everything went exactly as planned. Now that I’m seeing the results, I couldn’t be happier. It’s made a noticeable difference, and I’m so grateful I chose to go here and trusted them with this. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

I recently underwent a lower face and neck lift with Dr. Benjamin Bassichis in Dallas, Texas, and I couldn’t be happier with both my experience and my results. I also know several people who have gone to Dr. B for a variety of procedures — from fillers to rhinoplasty — and the outcomes are consistently excellent. Dr. Bassichis is truly an exceptional surgeon. His skill, precision, and care were evident every step of the way. The same is true of his entire staff, both in the office and at the surgery center. Everyone was professional, kind, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process, from my initial consultation to each follow-up visit. My recovery was remarkably smooth: I had virtually no pain, minimal swelling, and I felt comfortable being seen in public within about a week. The results look natural, refreshed, and exactly what I had hoped for. It may sound strange, but I still look like myself… just a better, more rested version. If you are considering facial surgery and want the very best, I cannot recommend Dr. Bassichis highly enough. He is an outstanding surgeon, and I am truly grateful I chose him.

Fantastic staff and surgeon with great bedside manner and sense of humor putting you at ease. Always greet you with a smile at follow up visits and no long wait times. Best experience I have had with any surgical experience.

Do not believe any review that is less than complimentary about Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery. For over 10 years Dr. Bassichis has surgically treated me, ranging from those you can image to a melanoma close-up right smack on my forehead. Besides being the best in Dallas, Dr. Bassichis' front office have lovely manners.

It took me a while to write this review, and honestly, I almost didn’t post it, but I feel like I need to share my experience & opinion. At the end of 2024, I was assaulted and had to go through several cosmetic treatments with my dermatologist to help repair some of the damage from that incident. She did everything she could for me and eventually referred me to Dr. Bassichis, the “Top Doctor” in DFW that many people know from TikTok and social media. I completely understand that social media is a huge part of business nowadays, but that becomes important later. At my first appointment, I briefly explained my situation to the medical assistant because I wanted to speak directly with the doctor and hear his opinion. Honestly, seeing all the awards, write-ups, and recognition in the office made me feel a lot more comfortable and hopeful. After everything I had been through, I really thought I was in the right place and trusted that this office would help me get back to feeling like myself again. When Dr. Bassichis came in, he seemed nice enough at first. He quickly looked at me, told the nurse to prepare steroid injections for the scar tissue/inflammation, did the injections, and moved on. The issue was that I had already done 3-4 rounds of these injections with my dermatologist, who had already told me & documented they had little to no effect. Even after explaining that, they still proceeded and charged me over $200. The whole appointment felt really rushed. I never really got the chance to explain what I was looking for, what complications I was dealing with, or fully talk about what I had gone through. After building up the courage to even come in for help, I left feeling pretty dismissed and unheard. After I got home, I called the office because something about the experience didn’t sit right with me. To their credit, they apologized and explained they are a “patient-driven office,” meaning I needed to speak up more, but I wasn't given the chance. I will say the girl at the front desk was incredibly kind and empathetic, and because of her, I decided to give the office another chance and come back for a second consultation. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe he was just having a bad day. Unfortunately, the second visit showed me exactly who he was. When he walked into the room, he sat down near the door with his legs crossed, leaned over with his hand on his chin, and let out this huge exhale like he didn’t even want to be there. Similar to a toddler being forced to stay at the dinner table until he finishes his vegetables. The energy was uncomfortable from the start, but I still tried to communicate and explain my concerns. What really bothered me was the complete lack of empathy, interest, professionalism, and understanding during that visit. At one point, he even referred to my traumatic incident as an “accident,” as if being kicked in the face, having my lip split open, and bleeding in the street was somehow just an accident. There was nothing accidental about what happened to me, and hearing it minimized like that honestly stung. As the appointment continued, his attitude only got worse. He clearly didn’t want to communicate and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him just by being there. Eventually, I realized there was no point continuing to explain myself to someone who clearly didn’t care, so I walked out and never returned. What’s most disappointing is that it feels like more effort is put into social media and TikTok videos than actually listening to patient that was in front of him, needing his help. Social media may bring people through the door, but empathy and professionalism are what make patients trust you. I will never return to this office, and I genuinely hope Dr. Bassichis learns to treat future patients with more compassion and respect.
