Matthew Ficenec, MD

Dr. Ficenec is an exceptionally professional and thorough. He’s an outstanding general surgeon who receives consistent praise from the staff—and we can personally vouch for that. He has earned the respect of so many people throughout the hospital, and it’s clear why. He handled my mom’s surgery with great skill, and she’s now recovering well. His guidance throughout her recovery has been tremendous, and we’re truly grateful for the care he’s provided.

I highly recommend this Ficenec! It’s not often you find someone who truly listens and takes the time to understand your concerns. I always feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for at every visit. Their compassion, patience, and dedication to their patients’ well-being really stand out. You can tell they truly care, and that makes all the difference. I’m very grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor!

I felt very comfortable with Dr Ficenec. I didn't have to be told he's a great Dr. I knew it when I had my consultation in his office. I thanked god for him.

Dr. Ficenec was very thorough with my Mom's visit. She was very happy and satisfied with her outcome, finally she can get some relief about her health. His office staff was very friendly and professional.

Dr Ficenec did my sister’s surgery back in 2019. She was having surgery for breast cancer. Well he ended up puncturing her lung and was in the hospital longer than expected. He had the nerve to come out after surgery and tell me and my mom what had happened and that she was one of the lucky ones. After that surgery the cancer ended up spreading to her lungs. I don’t recommend him for that reason. He never apologized to us. He just walked away. She passed away a year later.
