**Life-Changing Experience with Dr. Chang** I’ve been overweight all my life and have tried all kinds of diets and programs with little to no success. When I visited Dr. Chang in October 2023, I was at my heaviest weight, struggling with high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and other medical issues. From the very first appointment, Dr. Chang took the time to explain all the different ways he could help me—medication, surgery, and structured eating plans. He started me on an eating plan and food diary while getting lab work and referrals sorted. One month later, we reviewed my lab results and discussed the pros and cons of each option. Together, we decided that gastric bypass was the best path forward. I had my surgery in December, and I can confidently say it was the best decision I’ve ever made for my health. Fast forward 18 months—I’ve lost approximately 125 pounds, I’m off all blood pressure medications, my sleep apnea is gone, and most importantly, I’m healthy! Dr Chang is a life saver. I was 300 lbs on the first day that I went to see him. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and on the verge of type 2 diabetes. Had gastric sleeve surgery in July of 2019. Since the surgery I've lost over 100lbs and have kept it off. I've been able to go to the gym and put on muscle as well. It's a lifestyle change. Dr Chang has re-inspired me to continue on my health journey I started 7 years ago. Although I maintained the weight I lost after Bariatric surgery I slipped back into old habits of snacking and no exercise, causing me to lose muscle mass and body fat in my mid section. I am now back on track with a weight lifting regimen and NO SNACKING starting now. Thank you Dr Chang and staff for your continued support. I am feeling amazing.
