When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October, it was a whirlwind getting matched with all of the oncologists and medical professionals I would need. The one I have seen most is Dr. Kadle, my plastic surgeon, because I didn’t end up needing chemo or radiation and the mastectomy removed all the cancer. Dr. Kadle has been so empathetic, patient, and professional as I’ve had to navigate a number of things that didn’t quite go right simply because stuff happens. She’s demonstrated a good ability to adapt and change course when necessary, while clearly communicating with me in person and through MyChart. I’m currently planning my reconstructive surgery, and I feel confident in her ability to give me the best new normal I can have, given the circumstances. And my mastectomy was much less painful than I expected, so I hope even a much more invasive procedure like the DIEP flap will be similar.

I have had the most caring, helpful knowledgeable care from absolutely everyone I have encountered at the Spielman! I never feel rushed through an appointment and always have genuine conversation with Dr. Kadle and her team! Tami Murphy
