An absolute 'Super Doc'! Dr. Bassiri Gharb and her team have been a blessing for our family. They've guided our son through years of surgeries with ease and expertise. Communication was always top-notch, and the results of his final bone graft are fantastic. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bassiri is kind, compassionate, insightful and a true artist at her craft. As someone who has been interacting with craniofacial surgeons the majority of my life for cleft-palate reconstruction, I have high expectations. When I broke the graft in my nose this past fall, I found myself once again needing someone skilled and knowledgeable to help guide me on best next steps. Dr. Bassiri and her team warmly accepted my case, never making me question I was in the right hands. From our first visit to just now (three months post-op), Dr. Bassiri led with intention, transparency, empathy and strong communication. Even as I was being rolled into the OR, staff confirmed what I already knew, telling me: “she is the best.” Despite facing obstacles in my case due to various complexities it entailed, Dr. Basseri confidently pushed forward, finding solutions and providing high quality results. I cannot thank her and the team enough for the opportunity they provided and I will proudly recommend her to anyone needing services.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. My husband and I took our 1.5 year old son to main campus for a consultation for a skin tag on his ear. We checked in at the kiosk as we were directed, followed the prompts on the screen and made our way to the waiting area after the screen assured us we were checked in. After waiting for over an hour in the waiting room my husband went up to check and see what was going on. The lady at the desk proceeded to tell my husband “we checked in and the screen told us to go to the front desk to complete the copay and since we didn’t do that our appointment got canceled and we would have to reschedule” After hearing this I went up the desk, explained that I completed the check in and it said nothing about completing a copay to which she responded “yes it did. And the copay was not complete so we have to reschedule your appointment.”……EXCUSE ME while I stand here dumbfounded because why would both my husband and I call off work for this appointment, drive 40 min to main campus.. spend 15 minutes finding a parking spot and spend another 20 minutes getting to the right building.. to then CHECK IN AND THE KIOSK and just batenly ignore the screen where we PAY FOR THE APPOINTMENT…but then proceed to wait with my ONE AND A HALF YEAR OLD… (very active one and a half year old may I add) in the waiting for over an hour..just to get sent back home with nothing… doesn’t sound like how I would want to spend my morning off with my family :) Mind you..after being in and out of the hospital earlier on in the year myself and the countless pregnancy appointments I am VERY FAMILIAR with how the kiosks work and the alerts it may give you to go to the desk to complete check in if it is not able to complete your check in process. After clearly seeing we are upset, the receptionist went to ask the doctor if she would be able to complete the consultation for our son. She was gone for sometime and came back to tell us the doctor said she will NOT see us today and we will have to reschedule… I confirmed that she was refusing to see my one-year-old son who had patiently waited for over an hour.. After something that was not in our control.. More so in the control of the front desk, who just sat there and instead of calling us up to let us know we needed to pay our copayment.. choose not to say anything. You would think after a mistake that is totally out of our control if the receptionist would not try to make it right that at least the doctor would… This was absolutely unacceptable and it’s clear that this doctor does not care for her patients. It’s clear that this doctor is nothing but inconsiderate and unprofessional and obviously, we will not be rescheduling with her. We didn’t even get to complete our visit and I saw her true motives… we would much rather have our son be in the hands of someone who cares about and respects his time and patience.

April 2024 I got a breast reduction from her. 2 weeks after surgery I noticed my left breast was much larger than the other, I complained MULTIPLE Times. She even looked at it and told me “don’t worry about it it’s just still swollen and has fluid and in a couple months if it’s still large than we’ll have to do another surgery. Well unfortunately 6 months later my left breast has gotten worse it’s very large and will not fit in the same size cup as my right it’s very noticeable even with layers of clothing😢 I’ve complained about this the moment I got off the surgery table beccause I felt the big difference. My left side of my body just feels so heavy and pulling down😢 she haven’t checked on me since the surgery I wish I would have done my research smh

Where do I begin. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. Everything dealing with this woman from start to finish was gaslighting and hell. Her septoplasty left me with an infection with mold in my nose for three years until I finally got it fixed by her peer a Different but fabulous Surgeon at the Cleveland clinic who said he’s constantly getting her clients that she messes up. Let’s start by saying that the facial reconstruction surgery to repair what she did Found nothing but scar tissue, I had no blood flow going to my nose for three years and it started to decompose. Three years of gaslighting from this woman telling me there’s nothing wrong she didn’t bother to look any deeper with the CT scan even though another surgeon was able to look at me with His own eyes and tell me the problem which turned out to be correct. What a terrible surgeon I will absolutely be seeking to leave a similar review on the medical board and with the omsbudman office. Do not use this woman I hope she gets her license revoked and she needs to go back to medical school and learn the basics. Went through hell for three years and she never cared or tried to fix the problem I had to wrap my nose for three months and that should’ve been my First red flag with a terrible surgeon she is and how she doesn’t care to fix her mistakes. I would give 40 thumbs down and a recommendation to use anyone other than her
