Pacific ENT Medical Group

I recently was in the area on a trip and inadvertently left my hearing aid charger at home. Since I was attending an event benefitting ALZ.org the same evening, I called Pacific ENT, explained my situation and asked if it would be okay if I dropped off my devices to be recharged. They happily agreed; I was able to get them charged and attend the event and finish the weekend hearing clearly. This is not a regular review, but I wanted to share that for this odd request (I'm not one of their patients), they went out of their way to help. Thank you!

We met/consulted with Dr. Goldstein when my daughter (17) was hospitalized. A tentative plan for surgery was made but a follow up post-hospital was needed. When his office called to schedule that, they were incredibly helpful in scheduling both the follow up and, tentatively, the surgery that he thought she would need. The office let us know that scheduling at the end of the year gets tricky and it would be easier to cancel than to wait and possibly have to do the surgery after the holidays. The follow up visit was great (and thorough) and Dr. Goldstein made us all very comfortable with his recommendations. Our daughter is an athlete and he took her specific situation into consideration and talked us through options. He made his recommendations based on her individual needs rather than taking a formulaic approach. The surgery went well and she had an easy recovery. Unfortunately a complication arose (nothing to do with anything Pacific ENT caused or fault of Dr. Goldstein) and she had to have emergency surgery on Christmas when Dr. Goldstein was sadly out of town. He was reached and called us - concerned - from his vacation. We assured him the situation wasn't because of anything he had done or any issue with the original surgery. He gave us options for follow up. I later called his office for help with lab work and they sent him a message and let me know that he was not in so I would not hear back until the next day. However, I received a follow up call within an hour with labs ordered and scheduled. Our experience with Dr. Goldstein and the entire staff of Pacific ENT was thorough, kind and personalized. We really appreciate the entire team and had a very good experience from the hospital though the after surgical care and follow up.

Superior office staff with great attitudes. The office is meticulously clean and the treatment is outstanding. I see Dr. Salado and he is excellent. He explains things clearly and takes a conservative approach which a greatly appreciate.

I had a referral for this specific office given to me from my insurance. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist by the name of Melissa, I believe basically gave me the run around. She said they never received my referral, and that I couldn't bring in my referral from the mail and that it needed to be from my doctor. So I asked my doctor and they said that that was not true. So I gave pacific medical group a few days, maybe they needed some extra time for that referral to show up in there system. I called back 3-4 days later and the same girl answered, cut me off while talking and told me they don't take my insurance. I have never had an issue with a referral or setting up an appointment. Now it sounds like to me, that this receptionist is unqualified to do the job. She was rude, not helpful at all and that's unfortunate that Pacific ENT Medical Group would have someone like this to represent them, as I haven't even been seen by any of the doctors, but from this interaction with someone who represents the business, I'll be sure not to recommend this office. Do not bother wasting your time here. Came in for an ear cleaning and hearing loss, and was rushed out after a quick cleaning which was only for my right ear when I clearly mentioned that both ears were clogged and needed proper cleaning. You will be rushed and barely checked since the place is overbooked with so many patients than the doctor can handle!
