I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Andrew Frey and the team at Advance Surgeons. From my initial consultation all the way through surgery and recovery, the entire experience was incredibly smooth and well organized. Scheduling was easy, the staff was consistently friendly and professional, and I was in the waiting room for no more than 10 minutes on my office visits. Everything truly ran like a well-oiled machine. Dr. Frey himself was outstanding. Very personable, charismatic, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. On surgery day, everything went exactly as explained. I arrived at Grandview, was prepped efficiently, and the procedure went seamlessly. Afterward, Dr. Frey personally checked on me, along with other members of the surgical team. The next morning, another surgeon stopped by early to check in and let me know Dr. Frey would be coming by as well. Sure enough, he came in shortly after, checked on me, and I was discharged soon after that with zero hassle. I highly recommend Dr. Frey and Advance Surgeons. The entire team was excellent from start to finish. A++ experience.

The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient, making the check in process smooth and stress free. What truly stood out to me was how compassionate and attentive the entire team was throughout my visit. The nurse took the time to listen and make sure I was comfortable, and Dr. Christopher was exceptional. He took the time explain everything in great detail, answering all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. I never felt rushed, and I appreciated how he made sure I understood every part of my care. It's comforting to know there's a place where you are treated with such respect, empathy and professionalism. I left feeling confident in my care and grateful to have found this practice.

The entire staff here is absolutely phenomenal. Every step of the way was fast and easy. I immediately received a call when my referral was sent over and scheduled quickly. The online registration was a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly and thorough bring to my attention and insurance issue I never would have known! Dr. Christopher was the absolute best. The lady who handles surgery scheduling got me scheduled quickly and gave me everything I needed upfront and plenty of time to do pre-surgery testing which I forgot about until the last minute. They called very friendly to remind me! Before I left the office, they went ahead and scheduled me for a follow up so no need to call back. I highly recommend this place!

I recently had surgery to remove my gall bladder at Grandview Medical Center, and could not have been happier with the care I received from Advanced Surgeons, PC. From the admission process, through the care given by the nurses and doctor - through the recovery room to discharge, all the people I had contact with were professional and caring. I’d never look to go anywhere else!

Any surgeon can follow a learned procedure, but when complications arise, it takes a skilled doctor to handle them. Dr. Bishop punctured my colon and didn’t know how to fix it. After multiple surgeries, I ended up at the Mayo Clinic, where a professional surgeon finally repaired all the mistakes that had been made. I wouldn’t recommend his abilities as a surgeon to anyone.
