There are many reasons why I have been Dr.Chiu's patient for many years. One of them is her consistent effort to keep up with the industry's offerings, laser technology, various fillers and other products. My skin is obviously changing and it requires an extra touch with each passing decade. Diane Chiu always delivers the best personalized care for every age group, every skin type and every individual client of hers.

I recommend Dr. Chiu, Olga, and Alicianna based on my personal experience. I went to Dr. Chiu for skin care and anti-aging treatments. She focuses on simple treatments that work and last. I have acne-prone skin, and from volume loss from fasting many years ago , my face looked more loose, tired and older. However, Recently after treatment with Dr Chiu, my friends have commented that my skin looks clear and healthy, and my face looks naturally lifted. When I told them I had treatments done, they were surprised because nothing looked obvious or overdone. That natural result is exactly what I was looking for. While each visit costs more, the results last, so it’s worth it. I also saw Olga for eyebrow tattoo removal and laser hair removal. I was worried about discoloration with eyebrow tattoo removal, but one session was enough and the tattoo was completely removed. I didn’t need any follow-ups. For laser hair removal, I noticed a clear difference after the first treatment. Dr. Chiu also recommended medical acne extractions with her medical assistant. Every time I have extractions with Alicianna, she is very careful and pays close attention to detail. She only removes blackheads and pimples that are safe to extract, and my skin is clear after each visit. In the past, I had many extraction experiences where my face was overly inflamed and I could still see clogged pores afterward, with little improvement. With Alicianna, my skin actually improves each time.

Andrea Jones is my dermatologist. I have always been nervous about going to see a dermatologist, and being examined, but she has made me feel so welcomed and given me such good honest advice. I appreciate her honesty and no longer have a fear of going to see a dermatologist. I highly recommend her.

Dr Chiu is a WIZARD! After getting overfilled with Sculptra by an incompetent dermatologist on the east coast my face was left heavy and my jowls were sagging under the weight. I was told there was no way to fix it as Sculptra is non-reversible. Dr. Chiu brilliantly used fillers in my hairline to lift my face without adding anymore weight to it - the results were immediate and unbelievable!!!! I had been so depressed thinking my face was ruined for the next 2 years and I walked out BEAMING - I could see myself again! Even my eyes opened up more from the lift - truly an incredible transformation in just one appointment. I look 10 years younger, not an exaggeration! She is an expert in her field and has the eyes and hands of a master sculptor. I can’t say enough about her abilities, I’m so grateful to have found her. 10/10.

I previously left a poor review last year because nearly every visit resulted in waiting at least 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. The manager replied at the time, acknowledging the issue and saying they were “fine-tuning appointment durations” and making adjustments. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to try again this year. To be clear, the front desk staff and nurses have always been friendly and professional—no complaints there. During this most recent visit, they explained their internet was down, so I tried to be understanding. My appointment was at 11:50, but I wasn’t called back until about 20 minutes later. After a brief conversation with the nurse, I changed into my gown and then waited another 15 minutes before the doctor (Andrea Jones) came in. She didn’t apologize for the delay—just said, “Hi, thanks for your patience, welcome back.” After waiting roughly 40 minutes past my appointment time, I expected a bit more acknowledgment, but I let it go. This was an annual skin exam. Dr. Jones asked about a mole on my cheek that had been bothering me last year, so I explained that I had it removed by another dermatologist a few months after my last appointment with her. I told her the area didn’t completely smooth out after being shaved off, but that I wasn’t eager to go through another cutting-and-healing process unless there was a less invasive option, like laser. She confirmed there wasn’t, and said punching it out might be the best option. Somewhere in the conversation, things seemed to get lost in translation. I said I was tired of dealing with it, and she took that as me agreeing to another procedure. She then told me it would cost $750 since it was cosmetic. I was confused because I never said I wanted a procedure done. After we cleared that up, she responded: “Oh, then why are we even talking about this? We’re just wasting our time talking about something you’re not interested in treating.” Like, I’m sorry—I’M wasting YOUR time?? Talk about RUDE. She had asked about my cheek, and I was simply answering her question. I never said I wasn’t interested in improving it—only that I didn’t want another surgical cut. That is not an appropriate way to speak to a patient. We continued with the skin exam. She mentioned my scalp looked irritated, so I explained the recent issues I’d had (acne flare-ups, scalp psoriasis, etc.). She listened, but showed no empathy for the stress or frustration I’d been dealing with. Her only response was, “Well, we can do a patch test,” which felt more like another upsell than genuine care. Overall, she showed zero concern, and it felt like she was eager to end the appointment once she realized I wasn’t planning to spend extra money on treatments or tests. I gave this place a second chance after my poor experience last year, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, today’s visit confirmed the opposite. I will absolutely not be returning. Not now, not ever.
