Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is top notch. I recently had a prophylactic double mastectomy with reconstruction (implants). I cannot say enough about Dr. Dumestre and her team! I felt truly cared for throughout my entire experience. Lexi was great with general questions, Santana is amazing (and pretty funny) and Alexis was quick to respond to all of my questions. Between Dr Dumestre and her nurses I never once felt alone and had every question and concern addressed with patience and kindness. If you are on the fence with picking a doctor for whatever needs you have, go with Dr Dumestre. You won’t be disappointed. I interviewed four other surgeons before deciding to entrust my body with Dr Dumestre and her team.

After many consultations with multiple surgeons, and doing lots of research, I chose Dr. Fisher and her facility. Not only is she extremely skilled and knowledgeable, she takes the time to understand her patients and their concerns. Her nurses and staff provided amazing after care support every step of the way. My husband was even impressed at the attention and care I received all long the way. Their med spa is excellent in helping with laser scar treatments as well. I highly recommend.

I felt very safe and cared for through initial consult, surgery, and after care. It has been a few years so I can say that everything has healed wonderfully and looks great. As a CrossFit gym owner and competitive athlete, my identity is deeply tied to staying active, so going into surgery was honestly intimidating since I had never had a major procedure before and didn’t know what to expect. Dr. Dumestre and her entire team were next level. From the beginning, I felt confident and taken care of, and that never changed throughout the process. Not only do my results look amazing, but my recovery exceeded my expectations. I had zero complications and was able to return to all of my normal activities, including CrossFit, at 12 weeks post-op without any issues. This truly felt like it could be a one-and-done surgery, which says a lot. I’m actually choosing to do a revision in June to go a bit bigger, and I’m really excited to continue working with her because I trust her completely. I highly recommend Dr. Dumestre, especially for anyone considering direct-to-implant reconstruction. You are absolutely in good hands — she is incredibly talented.
