The result exceeded my expectations: there were no complications after the surgery,         and my recovery was faster thanks to the clear instructions and support from the doctor and her team. I recommend Dr. Yelena Levitin to anyone looking for a competent, caring, and responsible surgeon.

I was very pleased with the Chicago Surgical Center. Everything went well and the staff and Doctors are excellent. I am so glad I did not have to go to hospital to have my procedure done as it would have taken forever. Everything was scheduled perfectly, in fact my actual surgery time was moved up. Total time from pre-registration to surgery, to recovery, to release was 5 hours. If I had one negative, the post op instructions were a little vague but there is so much info on the internet available it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Levitin is a wonderful and gifted surgeon and I would recommend her and her team highly.

Warning to other patients: confirm your out-of-pocket cost in writing before scheduling any procedure. I contacted this clinic in advance to ask about the expected cost for a minor in-office procedure and was told there would be no out-of-pocket expense. Based on that information, I agreed to move forward. After the procedure, I received a bill for over $500. The initial bill also contained an error in the number of procedures performed. Although that was later corrected, the total amount charged remained essentially unchanged, and no clear explanation of how the charges were calculated was provided. When I raised the concern, I was told the balance remained my responsibility and was offered a payment plan or financial hardship application. This did not address the main issue, which was that the procedure was scheduled based on inaccurate cost information provided beforehand. Insurance billing can be complicated, but patients rely on the information given by the clinic when making medical decisions. I recommend confirming costs in writing and reviewing all details carefully before proceeding. Another challenge I wanted to add was that: Billing is handled by a third-party company. When I contacted the clinic, my concerns were forwarded to the external billing department, and I was not able to directly discuss the billing details with clinic staff. This made it difficult to resolve the issue or clarify how the charges were determined.
