Christie Bialowas

Dr Bialowas did my gender confirmation surgery (top surgery) in September of 2022 and was fantastic the entire time. The NP Tess was also amazing. I felt safe and comfortable and they answered all my questions. My revision is scheduled for June 2023 and I could not feel more at ease with my surgical team

She always takes the time to make sure I fully understand what is going on, and I genuinely feel like she takes the time to listen to me when I have a million questions due to my medical anxiety.

I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and dismissive treatment my sister received from Dr. Christie Bialowas and her office. My sister was scheduled to undergo a major surgery tomorrow, but the lack of compassion and proper communication from this doctor and her team has been appalling. Throughout the process, my sister’s concerns were brushed aside, and her attempts to get clarity or reassurance were met with blatant disregard. It’s unacceptable for a medical professional, especially one handling such serious cases, to show such little respect for their patients. This is a time when empathy and clear communication are most needed, and Dr. Bialowas failed completely in providing either. To anyone in the district seeking care, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. A doctor’s job is not only to treat but to listen and support their patients, and Dr. Bialowas does not meet this basic standard of professionalism. I had a consult in January of this year and expressed an interested for surgery in late may or early June. I did not hear from them for months and then was told that she was booked through all of May. Now that have to push back my surgery to august and restructure my entire summer. Christie seemed great but it’s not worth the stress.
