I don't even know where to start! I had been doing research for months. I knew this was a procedure I wanted to do in TJ. I'm so glad I went with Osuri. They walked me through the whole thing. Answered all my millions of questions before I got there. But what was most impressive was how my dedicated nurse held my hand through the whole process. They had scheduled my hotel for the night before the surgery and the day after the surgery, but I was discharged at 10 am and my check in time wasn't until 3pm. The hotel happened not to have any available rooms to give me and said I would need to wait until 3pm. But I was less than 24 hrs post op, my nurse got on the phone and found me a room at a "recovery house" while we waited in the lobby. She said she would feel more comfortable if I was in a recovery house. She could've left me in the lobby to wait, but she didn't. And she was right! They told me I should stay at a recovery house but I thought I could handle it on my own. I'm so glad she took me to the recovery house. She came to check on me while I was there. She made sure I was comfortable. Honestly, she was the best part of my experience. I felt so taken care of in a time that I was completely alone( yes I went there alone ) and she was friendly and warm. The aftercare was easy. I mean it was uncomfortable, because of the anesthesia and bloating but the instructions were clear and I literally texted them questions about my incision color and healing process and they responded always within minutes. My blood pressure dropped a few days after I got home and I called the nurse she answered right away and told me what to do. I'm so excited with my progress ( down 40 lbs in 3.5 months) and I can't wait to go back and have my mommy make over done with them! Also my husband doesn't speak Spanish, but they called him immediately after my surgery to let him know I was ok and in English which made him feel more comfortable, no communication issues at all.
