I am 10 days post op, down 21 pounds from pre-surgery weight and feeling pretty good so far. The team at OCC were all excellent through the entire process. They answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable. Transportation was very easy from the airport to the center and back to the airport. The hotel was excellent and my companion had all the restaurants he could have wanted on site. Overall, the experience was excellent!

My experience has been wonderful. Starting with the transportation from the airport, to and from the hotel and clinic. Very easy. The staff, nurses and doctors are very friendly and engaging. You feel that they care about you every step of the way. The explanations of what’s going to happen and instructions to be successful in my weight loss has been extremely thorough. The surgery itself went great. No surprises, I knew exactly what to expect. I have felt cared for and in safe and competent hands the entire time. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend OCC for anyone considering weight loss surgery.

I recently stayed at OCC for surgery and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a hospital. The level of care I received throughout my stay was exceptional, and I felt completely supported every step of the way. The Nurses are simply amazing and very attentive to your needs! The hotel Lucirna itself is a true luxury, with stunning amenities and a serene atmosphere. My room was beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. It was a true retreat! A huge thank you to Dr. Ortiz – he is absolutely amazing! He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I was completely confident before my procedure. The surgery went smoothly, and I’m already feeling great! Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience at both Lucirna and OCC, highly recommend this place to anyone seeking top-tier care in a luxurious setting. My entire experience with OCC was truly wonderful from beginning to end. Efren answered all of my pre-op questions. From the moment I arrived, every single staff member was kind, attentive, and welcoming, which immediately helped put my nerves at ease. Meeting with my surgeon, Dr. Ortiz, gave me complete confidence in my decision, and his professionalism and care meant so much to me. The same warmth and attention continued throughout my recovery and post-op care until I was safely discharged to return home to Canada. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would highly recommend OCC.

Had a great experience at OCC. they are very organized, profession and you receive amazing care! They walk you through each step of the way. I felt very safe from pickup to drop off at the airport. The border crossing was easier than expected. Hotel was nice and comfortable. I would suggest brushing up on some Spanish for even easier communication when not at the OCC, but it’s not totally necessary. I am so happy I made this decision for myself, oh, I went unaccompanied and it was great!
