I came to hospital bc in Tijuana as a companion while my friend got her gastric sleeve done. The whole process was very smooth and straightforward. Very nice and clean facilities. The first night we stayed in a super nice hotel booking handled by hospital bc, within walking distance to a shopping mall which we enjoyed walking around! The staff is so kind and helpful. Sal was our driver who picked us up from the airport. Right away he made us feel safe and comfortable. Beto was our evening shift concierge. We really enjoyed talking with him and he’s always there to help with anything we needed. The surgeon was very informative and had a good energetic personality. There’s also a cafe located in the same courtyard as the hospital for people who are not getting surgery to eat. Everything I ordered was excellent! You can log into your own streaming services on the tv in the room and you have control over the rooms heating and air which works very well!! See pics attached! ✨🥰

They really take better care of you than America I recommend everybody whos on a weight loss journey that’s thinking about surgery to come here. All of the staff was excellent to me. They keep checking up on you to make sure you’re ok. The staff drove my nephew out the hospital for food. He was very thankful for that. I hope I never have to come back but if I do I’m coming again. Believe it.

I was at Hospital BC for VSG or Gastric Sleeve surgery. I can't express how wonderful my experience was in just a few words but here goes. From the transportation proved, Sal you were warm and friendly my Granddaughter and I enjoyed the conversation. The receptionist, Marina, was so helpful and always had a reassuring word with a beautiful smile. Henry Cortez was great from the first phone call. He was there every step of the way for my weightloss journey from Fort Worth,Texas to Tijuana, Mexico. Can't say enough words of appreciation for Louis, who helped me walk and patiently walk slow with me as many times as I walk and helped translate to the nurses. Then there's Beto, my goodness what a kind man helping me with whatever I needed and did it with smile. And lastly but certainly not least, Dr. Illan, who performed my surgery. He came and spoke to me the day of my surgery. He was kind, caring and has a great sense of humor. My surgery went great very minimal pain, incisions were uncomfortable but not painful (like I expected) gas pain were the most uncomfortable. From pre op to post op EVERYONE was great. I was in great hands and very well taken care. I would recommend Hospital BC & Dr Illan to anyone interested in weight loss surgery. I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my life. I know I'm probably leaving out some people but they were great as well. You will be in good hands here.

I came to Hospital BC as a companion to my husband who was having a mini gastric bypass. The Hospital is clean and modern, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful! They go out of their way to make sure both patients and their companions have all their needs met. I knew I could trust my husband with his care because I was a patient here six years ago and it was the best decision I could have made for my health. I'm very thankful for Hospital BC and all of it's staff.
