This was my first surgery ever and I genuinely feel like it couldn’t have gone any better. From the very first phone call to schedule my consultation, every single person I came in contact with made me feel cared for, safe, and totally comfortable. The office itself is super clean and aesthetically beautiful — which definitely helped calm my nerves — but what truly made the experience stand out was the people. The receptionist, every nurse I encountered, both the main surgeon and the post-op doctor — everyone was warm, professional, and so attentive. Huge shoutout to Dr. Yesenia, my post-op doctor, who I’ve been in communication with every single week for the past two months. I’ve been sending her progress photos regularly, and she’s been incredibly consistent and supportive with her feedback — from wound care tips in the early days to scar care guidance now. I waited a bit to post this review because I wanted to make sure I still felt this way after some healing time — and honestly, I feel even better about the decision I made. My results have exceeded my expectations, and the care hasn’t stopped just because the surgery is over. The hospital staff the day of surgery were phenomenal too — I was scared and literally shaking, and someone brought me a cozy little blanket to help me feel more at ease. It meant so much. As for Dr. Flores Valdivia himself — his work is phenomenal. I told him I wanted a very curvaceous, snatched figure, and he absolutely bodied that. I mean, he ate! When it came to my boobs, I told him I wanted to go big, but instead of just going with it blindly, he really took the time to explain the risks with retention and how my body might respond. He suggested a slightly smaller size for now, with the option to go bigger in the future once we improve the integrity of my breast area. I felt completely heard, respected, and guided the whole way. He was thoughtful, skilled, and honestly just so good at what he does. I’ll also be leaving a separate review for the aftercare team at Better Recovery, because that was another 5-star experience all on its own. If you’re considering surgery and want a team that will treat you with kindness, professionalism, and compassion every step of the way — this is the place. I couldn’t be more grateful. These before and after are CRAZY. 🤪 talk about confidence booster. If you’re thinking about doing it, do it with the best.

Dr. Valvidia is absolutely the best! To start things off he was very direct, informative, and honest, during our first meeting. He does not try to upsell you. He will tell you exactly what you can expect from the surgery. He’s a perfectionist with a very high level of expertise. The results of the surgery exceeded my expectations beyond belief. I’m very grateful to Dr Valvidia and his staff for the very caring treatment that I received during my stay at the clinic. If I could give Dr. Valdivia and his staff 10 stars I would!! Highly recommended!

I had a breast lift, augmentation, and arm lift with Dr. Flores on Jan 14, 2026. I had breast cancer with left breast mastectomy in 2010 and as a result, had terrible overall breast symmetry. Contending with an overly large perky saline implant on my left breast, and a very saggy sad right breast, I had a rather low self-image. I also was saddled with huge flabby upper arms and lots of side boob. I hadn't worn a short sleeve shirt in years. I found Dr. Flores in Tijuana, Mexico and after visiting his web site, conducted due diligence to ensure he was board certified and had no instances of malpractice. I found he was boarded in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and in General Surgery. His ratings were five stars. I contacted the practice online, sent initial photos, and they responded back very quickly with recommendations for improvement and a professional brochure that included a lot of information about the Dr., the team, the hospital and the hotel along with a very reasonable quote. Soon after, I had my first web consult with Dr. Flores. I decided to move forward with the surgery, and upon my arrival in San Diego, the office arranged a ride for me from the airport to the Dr's office in Tijuana where I had my pre-op consultation and met the support team. Everyone was very kind to me and took a great deal of time to ensure I had all my questions answered and was comfortable with the proposed surgeries, implants, and subsequent care. Dr. Flores did the "mark-up" and spent a great deal of time helping me to choose the right implant size for my body. Since I was also having an extended arm lift, Dr. Flores also agreed to remove as much side boob and back fat as possible. We also discussed reasonable expectations. Interestingly, I also had an extensive visit/exam with an Internal Medicine physician to ensure I was healthy and could tolerate the anesthesia and surgery with little risk. My surgery was the following early morning, and I spent a night at the hospital. I woke up sometime in the very early morning, and a very sweet nurse brought me broth and Jello. I woke up again in the morning to find Dr. Flores checking in on me. He took lots of time to answer all my questions and he described everything he had done surgically, and he assured me that everything had gone very well. He was very happy with the results and warned me to be patient and to do very little physical activity until cleared. My first impression of my new body was scary. I told Dr. Flores I was very worried. He asked me to be patient and said that what I was seeing was normal, and that everything would be just fine. I stayed in Tijuana for about seven days and was delivered back to the airport and flew home. I had to stay in constant contact with Dr. Flores's office and send new photos every Friday. After one month post op, I began to see that I was going to look amazing. I had my final three-month post-op web visit with Dr. Flores last week and I am now in month four post op, and I am healing up very nicely. My arms are slim and I am very pleased with my new and improved breast symmetry. I now look wonderful in clothes, and my scarring surprisingly has been very minimal. I have had a really excellent experience with Dr. Flores and his wonderful staff. I initially was scared to have the surgery in Mexico, but in retrospect, I was treated so much better than I had been previously in the US. Everyone took the time to get to know me and everyone I encountered was patient and kind. The hotel was beautiful and the food was amazing. I would do it again in a heartbeat and have absolutely no regrets. I highly recommend Dr. Flores and his excellent team.

Dr Flores was so wonderful when I had my first round of surgeries. If you're looking for a GREAT surgeon, then Dr Flores is tge right choice. This was my first time outside the US and I was treated so wonderfully. He took great pride and care into making sure my results where perfect for me. I have so much more confidence in myself than I have ever had. Im looking forward to going back down here in 3 months for him to do my other surgeries.

I wish I would have had this procedure done a lot sooner. I had a 360-tummy tuck, BBL and some lipo to flanks. I was referred here by my friend who had a similar procedure done. I was always scared/hesitant to have this extensive procedure done let alone in another country. Once I started working with the doctor and his team, I started to feel really good about my decision. I had phone calls and one in person visit during the months leading up to the surgery. During my first visit there, I was immediately impressed with the facility, the doctor's office, the team and of course Dr. Flores Valdivia. His experience and passion for what he does is evident from the first time you meet him. Thoroughly explains everything and answers all your questions and makes it easy to understand. The office is located in a modern state of the art medical facility literally 2 minutes across the border from San Diego. The facility houses lots of other surgeons in their respective fields, so you see patients everywhere and you quickly start to realize you aren't the only one coming from the US. They offer transportation from the airport to the office and back to airport. Dr. Flores Valdivia was always prompt with all appointments; the office and team runs very efficiently. Everyone is very nice, accommodating and extremely helpful. I felt very comfortable with the doctor and the entire team. The day before my surgery I arrived for pre-op, then checked into the hotel they partner with, it's literally connected to the medical plaza where the doctor's office is. Beautiful hotel, good restaurants all around and always felt comfortable and safe. The actual hospital itself was modern and similar to what you'd expect to see in the United States. The nurses there were great, some were bi-lingual and google translator was a tool used for any gaps. I speak some Spanish, so I was fine, however if I didn’t speak any Spanish, I would have been fine. As they rolled me into the OR I was nervous, to be expected, but Dr. Flores Valdivia was there to greet me, and so was Dr. Yessenia, and once I saw them I felt more relaxed. The anesthesiologist was great and helped calm my nerves and explained her process. I stayed one night in the hospital, had visits from my 2 doctors and then went to the hotel for recovery. A nurse came to check on me several times and helped me shower, my husband was with me too, so I had plenty of help. I saw the doctor twice for post op visits before I was cleared to leave for home about 4-5 days later. I've been back for 2 post op office visits along with sending pictures of myself to send to the team weekly during the first 2 months so they can track my progress. I'm 9 months post op and feel great and had the best support team with Dr. Flores Valdivia and team. Dr Yessenia was awesome; she was extremely helpful with questions and very responsive. Xiomara was also so helpful and so friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend Dr. Flores Valdivia and team all day long, every day. Again, I wish I would have had this done sooner.
