I had a surgery at this hospital and I had a great experience. The facilities are very clean. The room I stated in was spotless. All the nurses and staff were friendly - I want to specially recognize Mar, Monserrat, and Elizabeth for their above and beyond efforts to help me be comfortable. A few notes, they were out of some type of tape but were quick to use a different alternative until someone grab what one we needed. I also requested a few things, and they took 10-15 minutes to get to some of them. However, my review is still 5 stars because they excelled at what matters most- caring for me. Besides, I understand that there are other people In The hospital and they can’t get to me within the minute. Please be kind and patient during this still very challenging Covid time. Update: Diana and Karen were great too! I highly recommend this place!

Great service. Showed up with a case of food poisoning and was seen immediately by Dr. Gregorio Mendoza who was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The nurse who gave me shots was also very patient and professional. Will definitely be back if I ever need medical services again. Stay away from Velmar, they suck!

Very professional. My brother was in a motorcycle accident. The most serious injury was a broken wrist which the doctor put in a splint. He did such a good job that the American doctor who looked at it later was not sure it would need surgery. The staff was also gentle and calm through the process. Thank you.

My brother had a car accident and from the first day I contact got the best service from Lorena, she explained all the fees, the process and help with the transfer on ambulance from the other hospital where my brother had few days without a day for surgery. My brother got transfer late Sunday and got a surgery Monday by Dr. Quintero and Dr. Daniel they all have an amazing team. I was able to pay from the comfort of my house and able to rest while my brother was recovering.

Although I don't have a gripe against the staff in general, they were very attentive and professional. Who I do have a gripe with is the surgery Doctor's assistant who I dealt with since day one, Dr. Del Peral. Very dishonest Doctor and very unprofessional. Post surgery he overcharged me and had the audacity to say we never spoke about a laparoscopic surgery which was the price he quoted me for, laparoscopic surgery. Per the surgeons recommendations(who I actually meet a half hour before the surgery) I opted for an open surgery. I always dealt with Doctor Del Peral pre surgery and post surgery. He verbally quoted me a price and stated it was not customary to quote prices in writing, now I understand why, because it's basically his word against yours. I don't know if it's his practice overcharging patients, BUT, he did it to me. So caution if you have dealings with this person. The SURGEON was highly recommended to me by his peers, in no way shape or form am I saying the surgeon is a bad Doctor.
