Dr. Baja

I had just moved to Baja and had a very bad bike accident. Immediate surgery to replace my implants which had both burst was necessary. I didn't speak much Spanish, was very scared about going to a doctor that I didn't know. Everyone at the clinic treated me with compassion and excellent nursing skills, even though I didn't speak the language! Dr.Rodriquez was amazing, he was through and did an amazing job. I'm so happy with the results. The cost including an overnight stay in his clinic was less than 1/3 the prices if done in San Diego and the staff was more compassionate too! I highly recommend Dr. Rodriquez and his staff, a truly great experience with several follow up appointments...

I'm an even keel kinda gal. I was never interested in any form of esthetic surgery, feeling quite good about who and how I am. I was skeptical about any kind of "cosmetic" procedure and then I had a situation which required intervention to address or I'd face some dire medical consequences down the road. I researched extensively and was impressed with Dr. Renato's work and reputation, particularly known locally for his "natural touch," not focusing on making a person look like a magazine cover, but focusing on bringing out the best attributes of THAT person. He is admired and known for enhancing the most beautiful, natural look for your body, so you don't walk around looking like a plastic surgery aftermath. 6 months later, I was stunned by the results. I have gotten non-stop compliments about how great I look and how different. The healing process had a hiccup or two that were quite normal for the procedure but never in any moment did I feel the doctor wasn't accessible for any checkups or advice when my anxiety rose. He was always available and very steady, with a tremendous knowledge. I found out he's been doing this since he was 16, when he started as an assistant to a surgeon! He has a true dedicated passion for what he does, always staying on the cutting edge of technology and keeping the most modern techniques that are the least invasive, yet most effective. You can see his dedication in how he will work with patients to reach their goals, and he's committed to making people feel good about who they are and how they look with a professionalism that is second to none, and what I liked most is he's not afraid to say no. Too many surgeons will sadly take a patient who is not completely an apt candidate and he will not. He is honest about if you are able to undergo a surgery and he is honest about the complications he sees as potentials. He's very accessible for cost in procedures and always sees ways to see what you need, not what he stands to make off you, which I appreciate immensely. The team is terrific, attentive, his staff is always available for any question on WhatsApp, no matter how small, and the Ensenada location is nice for surgeries and recovery. Can't recommend his team enough. After having been followed by him in a (normal) recovery process for 6 months, I'm confident you can't go wrong with this choice.

I don’t know much about this doctors office other than they were referred to me. Although, what I do know is that they are not responsible with appointments THEY schedule. They ask for pictures, yet they never reply to the email with pictures sent. They make future phone appointments with the doctor, and that doesn’t crystallize either. it’s very difficult to make plans when a business is so unreliable. I’m moving on. This is a good indication that bedside manners also will be bad.
