I want to recommend Dr. Juan Carlos de la Torre as a gastroenterologist and as a wonderful human being! I had gastric sleeve surgery with him about two months ago. I suffered from sleep apnea, acid reflux, poor circulation, prediabetes, and depression. I had a consultation with the doctor via video call and in person to evaluate my case. During the evaluation, the doctor was very honest and sincere in his diagnosis and recommended gastric sleeve surgery to improve my health. A month prior, I had already consulted with another doctor for a medical evaluation, and that doctor recommended gastric bypass surgery. However, I still felt the need for a second evaluation since the first diagnosis wasn't very convincing for me. Today, two months after my surgery, I realize it was the best decision I could have ever made.
