I am spending the winter in Mexico, and just before I arrived, I had undergone a couple of concerning complications and decided to consult Dr. Karla Duarte whom I chose based on her excellent reviews. The process of scheduling my appointment and sharing medical records was seamless, thanks to excellent communications. When I arrived, the receptionist warmly greeted me and I provided her with some additional information. Dr. Duarte met with me promptly, and we discussed the issues in detail. Her communication skills were impressive, as was her English, which made the entire experience very comfortable. After a thorough examination, I was relieved to find that my condition does not require immediate surgery, but I have complete confidence in Dr. Duarte should that need arise. She clearly explained my situation and all of the options, and I wholeheartedly recommend her. I wish that she was my doctor back in the US.

Dr Karla is extremely knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. I felt like she took her time to understand my problems, explained the treatment very clearly, and was understanding of all my concerns. She worked with new technology, fixed my issues completely, and charged very reasonable prices. I have used her for 2 surgeries, and would definitely use her again!

Dr. Karla Duarte is the person God put in my path when I felt I couldn't take what I was going through anymore. I consulted with several doctors, and they never knew what to say. They'd say I had one thing and then another. I suffered a lot, but when I finally managed to schedule an appointment with her, she knew what I had from the very first consultation. She explained everything to me in detail, and I felt at ease because, besides being a professional at her job, she's an excellent person. I'm so grateful to her because before and after the surgery, she gave me hope that everything would be alright, and it was. I had surgery on February 17th; she operated on a fistula, and today I'm doing well. I feel great, and the recovery is going excellently. She discharged me today, and I'm infinitely grateful to her for helping me heal. And I'm not only grateful to Dr. Karla but also to her assistant, Laurita, because she always greeted us with such kindness and joy, and was always available to answer any questions.
