DHI Clinica Costa Rica

This is, without a doubt, the best experience I could of imagined. From the beginning, scheduling the consultation- right on to the after care and follow-ups, coming here is like coming home. The entire team are professional and talented, but go far above and beyond to make you feel safe, welcome and taken care of. I was incredibly anxious about where to have the surgery done and wether or not it was for me. Those doubts snd fears were instantly gone when meeting Catherine and all of the Daniellas (yes there are multiples and every one of them is wonderful). This process could of been overwhelming and instead I always felt nice and relaxed. I actually look forward to visits here now just to see everyone. It really is that lovely. If you are at all worried about a language barrier and are an English speaker- have no fears. They are all fluent. I can not say enough positive things about my results. They are incredible. Seriously- the team at DHI Costa Rica has changed my life so positively, and I will never be able to say thank you enough. You are all angels ❤️

I literally could not say enough good things about these people, the process and the results. From start to finish the staff at DHI from the receptionist to the nurses and the doctor made me feel comfortable through answering all of my questions and concerns and assuring me through their professionalism and competence. You read about horror stories online regarding these types of procedures and unfortunately I was one of those people. The first hair transplant I had was at a hospital here in San Jose and to say it was a disaster would be an understatement After explaining my situation to DHI they were able to accomodate me on short notice and arrange a meeting with the doctor Seeing that I was visibly shaken from my prior experience they treated me with a level of compassion one can only expect from close friends and family members That day they cleaned me up as best they could and gave me a proper consultation Luckily, the damage that had been done by the proir doctor was not beyond repair and the DHI staff informed me that it would not be a problem for them to fix it and deliver a fantastic result Having now been through 2 hair transplants by 2 different Doctors in Costa Rica I can attest to the fact that DHI is simply in a league of its own 1 week post surgery I am ecstatic with the results and I cannot wait to see the final outcome in the months to come. I cannot thank the people at DHI enough for turning my misery into elation and for giving me the most priceless gift...A full and thick head of Hair!

The Team at DHI was the most professional medical group i have ever worked with. I have been in the healthcare industry for 35 years and been in 2,500 facilities. This was one of the best experiences i ever had. I will recommend DHI to everyone i know who is looking for enhancing their looks and hair loss. So I came to CR two years ago from New Zealand and booked a transplant. The transplant procedure went really well in terms of the implant process, the staff, nurses and the initial results after a week looked great. However these things take time, so after a year I checked in with the clinic and sent photos (which I had been doing every time they asked for a follow up) it seemed as though the hair transplant definitely wasn't as effective as it looked after the week of hair growth initially, I knew it was never going to be perfect but definitely thought it was going to be better than it is. I'm still rather thin on top and for $7000US would really hoped for a better result. I had a two year follow up in Costa Rica today, the doctor instructed me that I do have quite a lot of hair and that it is just thin. I had explained that after the procedure there was no information on specific brands of shampoo, platelet-rich plasma injections and finasteride etc the only direction the clinic gave was that I should be taking vitamin B-12 and any strengthening shampoo\conditioner. I am starting finasteride, foam Rogain and PRP now for 6 months to see if any improvement happens and will write a follow up post. Overall I give a 3\5 due to the great service at the point of time and good procedure but no direction after the implants and feel that could have definitely given me a better result (let's hope it's not to late). Overall would not recommend but if the proper after care was recommended at the time of surgery this could have been a completely different review :(
