Terrible experience, I do not recommend him. I had a consultation with Dr. Chacón for a breast reconstruction evaluation, and the experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. From the beginning, I felt a complete lack of interest in listening to my needs or understanding my medical history and previous surgeries; he completely minimized my doubts and questions about significant complications from past procedures. Furthermore, his demeanor left much to be desired. The doctor made extremely inappropriate, out-of-place, and tactless comments about my body type, even attempting to recommend weight-loss medications (like Ozempic) when I explicitly stated that I feel good about my current weight. When I questioned him, his response was to question my body before evaluating the procedure I was consulting about. His communication was disjointed and unserious. I left the consultation feeling completely frustrated, invalidated, and mistreated as a patient. Seeking a medical opinion requires trust and empathy, qualities I found absolutely none of with this doctor.
