My husband suffered for many years CRPS on his left hand. I found Dr. Piñal looking for treatments for CRPS ( Sudeck’s syndrome). We did a first Skype consultation, but my husband was hesitant since the treatments he had in the past were painful for him. Dr. Piñal was so positive, gentle and polite. Also, was very sincere to us. If my husband would not have a good outcome with the surgery he would tell us right away. I am a hand surgeon in Korea. I have known Dr. Pinal so long time. His attitude and endeavors for the patients are respectable from other surgeons in the world. I have seen very similar situations from many other doctors. Eventhough the doctor was not intentionally being offensive to the patient, the patient can feel very uncomfortable. In this case, the doctor should explain very honestly first, and then the patient may accept the sincerity. I hope the patient understood Dr. Pinal's sincerity.
