I don't usually write reviews, but I feel I need to share this in case it can help someone. Dr. Jesús Sánchez Martín is not only a fantastic professional but also an excellent person. This means that his professionalism is combined with humanity, honesty, and all those qualities that describe good people. I met him through a recommendation from an acquaintance, now a friend, and started with Botox treatments, which were a wonderful and completely natural experience. Two months ago, I decided to have an abdominoplasty with liposuction, as after two pregnancies and now with menopause, I was feeling really unwell. I felt completely at ease in his hands, and indeed, everything went perfectly. The treatment was exquisite, the personal attention throughout the recovery period, and the final result was EXCELLENT. I wholeheartedly recommend him and thank him for everything!

I had blepharoplasty with Dr. Jesús Sánchez two years ago, relying on the positive reviews I had read. Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. After surgery, I developed lagophthalmos in both eyes (I can't close them completely), which has caused severe dry eyes and painful keratitis. I have to constantly use artificial tears and sleep with my eyes covered with tape. Cosmetically, the result also doesn't look natural, but what I find most worrying is the impact on my eye health. I continue to receive treatment from ophthalmologists for the after-effects. I was also very disappointed with the doctor's approach to the situation. At first, he was very attentive, but when the problem persisted, he stopped contacting me. Some time later, when I wrote to him to explain that I was still experiencing discomfort, he told me I had been "unlucky," that blepharoplasty "is very rewarding," and that I was "the exception that proves the rule." I found that response unsympathetic, and I felt abandoned as a patient. Based on my experience, I recommend that these types of surgeries be performed by an oculoplastic ophthalmologist, who specializes in the anatomy and function of the eyelids. Just as for nose surgery, it's best to see an otolaryngologist, not a general or cosmetic surgeon who covers several areas. I hope my testimony helps others become well-informed before choosing a surgeon.
