I recently returned from Lithuania, and I am so glad that I chose Nordclinic for my private hip surgery. The care was EXCELLENT, with every detail considered and taken care of from the time I was picked up at the Vilnius airport, throughout my surgery and physio rehab, until I returned home to Canada 9 days after the surgery. I am feeling great, and continuing to progress from the excellent physio treatment I was given starting 2 days post surgery. I was able to obtain a surgery date 10 days after my initial contact with Nord, and my actual surgery was within 4 weeks of my first contact (I needed this amount of time to get organized to leave work and to plan my travel). Even with travel, the surgery and physio cost was less than I would have paid in Canada (not including 7 days of physio). Lithuania is a beautiful country and it was a nice distraction to be able to wander a bit on the promenade in Kaunas post surgery. I 100% recommend Nordorthropaedics as a private option for those needing faster treatment than they can receive at home!

I attended this clinic in April 2026 as I needed a new hip. From the very 1st contact to the last day we were dropped off at the airport, the whole experience instilled confidence and was seamless. The clinic is modern, with all new equipment, the staff are all totally professional and knowledgeable, kind and caring. The hospital stay was comfortable, the operation went well, the next steps were immediate and got us moving right away, together with the physio on the following days that helped us get back mobility and confidence. I really do recommend this clinic to anyone considering surgery with them. I am delighted with the results, and am walking independently on day 12. Fabulous :)

I returned home from a total hip replacement operation on 1st May. The experience from my first contact in January through to being taken to the airport to return home on 1st May has been first class. Professional, caring surgery procedures and aftercare. Top class and advanced physio/rehab whilst in Kaunas. Excellent program of exercise for continuing the rehab at home. The customer service was excellent from start to finish which creates a syrong feeling of confidence in the clinic. I would not hesitate to return to Nordorthopaedics if I had other joint issues in the future.

The medical care at Nordclinic for my hip replacement surgery was brilliant. I am totally shocked at how quickly I have felt better and how fantastic the surgery and physio was. I would highly recommend to anyone needing this surgery to go there. My daughter is a doctor and she thought I received excellent care and a way better outcome due to the surgery than I would have received at home. It saved me two years of waiting in pain to go to Birdclinic. I am walking unassisted after one week! It was brilliant!

Simply outstanding medical care.  I initially learned of Nordorthopaedics Clinic in 2018 when I was researching facilities for treatment of left hip osteoarthritis.  I found the care offered at Nord to line up in every way to what I was seeking.  My successful left total hip arthroplasty was performed in Sep 2018 by Nord, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations resulting in amazing medical care. It was an easy choice to once again choose Nord when it became obvious my right hip had deteriorated and would require surgery.  I initially made contact with Nord customer service to inquire and found the initial contact to be professional and informative. I was assigned an agent to assist me with the entire process. Neringa was great in communicating and coordinating all requirements of the clinic to assess whether I was a solid candidate for the surgery. After providing the necessary laboratory tests, x-rays and medical screening forms, I was offered several options of available surgery dates. All customer service interactions were great; all surgery costs were communicated clearly, and guidelines regarding pre and post surgery expectations were provided. The clinic occupies an excellent, modern, state of the art facility in Kaunas. Once the surgery date is set and travel itineraries provided to customer service, the Nord Logistics team spring into action. They were extremely easy to communicate with via What's App, allowing professional coordination of all patient pickups and drop-offs. The Nord fleet of vehicles was super comfortable, and the team of drivers was very personable, friendly, patient, and helpful. My 24 Nov 2025 surgery was as smooth as the 2018 surgery. For Monday morning surgeries, the pre-op medical screenings are performed at the Nord's Esthetics Clinic that occupies a favorable position in central Kaunas.  Again, the reception and staff at the clinic were second to none. All of my pre-op checks were done quickly, and I was able to pay the outstanding costs for my care right there at reception. My surgery the next day was wonderful, if you can describe any surgery as such. The professional anesthesiologist and talented surgeon, Dr. Sarunas Tarasevicius stopped by prior to surgery to check on me and again a few hours after the surgery. Their calming nature instilled confidence that was very reassuring. Everything went perfectly and I was up and taking a few steps that evening by dinner time.  After a two-night clinic stay, I was released and initially completed two days of physical therapy with Nord before transferring to UPA Medical Spa for further rehab. The Nord physical therapy offering is new from 2018 surgery, and the facility and therapists were excellent. In a small group format, therapist Laimonas Siupsinskas is able to monitor all patients and run them thru the most effective exercises that are critical for the early stages of post-operative rehab. The physio homework assigned are safe and simple exercises, but ensure patients are able to build on the great therapy that began in the Nord physio facility. All and all, it would be hard to find a more all-around quality orthopedic clinic experience such as what is offered at Nord. The communication, the facilities, the staff, the professionalism, and everything in between all create a superior experience when joint surgery becomes a necessity. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Nord for once again improving my quality of life.
