Full knee replacement using S1. Referral made from our doctor and an appointment booked online to see Dr Pashov. Arriving at the hospital - parking is available directly opposite for €1 per hour or there are 3 parking lots on the right past the hospital for €0.50 per hour (pay for these car parks by the pharmacy). Reception - there are plenty of staff who speak English to help with the registering. Take your S1 certificate. Took about 15 minutes to register and paid €0.50 for the appointment. Dr. Pashov speaks perfect English. If you have xrays take them with you. Appointment made to go in for surgery a week later and also took up the option to stay an extra week on the rehab ward. It is a private hospital so you do pay for the ward even with the S1 Visiting was Tues/Thurs 4 - 5pm and Sat/Sun 1 -2pm. Staff on ward very nice and food was tasty. Compared to UK hospital food was much nicer. There was a trolley doing the rounds for tea/coffee, water, snacks. Gave the lady my own tbag to make me a good cup of Lancashire tea. Rehab ward is more expensive than orthopedic , but it included 2 session of physio a day and laser treatment on leg. The physio staff really good. Seen Dr Pashov at 4 week point, another xray. Told all was good. Found this hospital to be really good, as had been very concerned due to my lack of Bulgarian. But no need to worry. Have included some pics of the food.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Dimo Mitev and the entire medical team for their professionalism and care. I underwent surgery for the removal of the thyroid gland, and at every stage from preparation to recovery I felt attention, support, and confidence in the outcome. Everything went successfully, the explanations were clear, and the attitude was truly compassionate. Thank you for your work and your dedication to patients🙏🏻

I am American and medical professional in the past. I had hypertension crisis a near heart attack situation and I was taken off the plane. First they took my passport away from me and I didn’t see it yet. it is outrageous to violate a person's rights by depriving him/her of the passport even for a short time. Second, level of intelligence for younger nurses wish to be better, they did the job, but with attitude, professionalism of male doctors are fine, but females are all have an unpleasant attitude. I’m grateful, they kept me alive. Thank you all, but I would never wish to come back there. And thanks God I don’t have to do surgery here. Third, please don’t forget to take plenty of water with you because you will not get even a drop even with your medication. In my room nobody got it. 4 days of stay here with 4 IV medication and 2 Saline IV and 3 days of tablets cost 966 Lev. Daily cost 120 lev. I’m saying sorry to the staff of this clinic if you got offended by my review, but my advice to you ladies, change your attitude you working with sick helpless people, they depending on you, and at least you can do, to be sympathetic and kind if you can’t just fake it. I got my passport after the payment, its fare but still against human rights.

My stay there was terrible and incompetent. My tongue was damaged and I needed soups but they never gave me soft food so I could not eat and I could not sleep AT ALL so I had to leave early and not finish my treatment. I can not recommend this hospital to anyone especially neurological department.
