This is going to be the longest review ever, so grab yourself some snack and buckle up! Back in 2014, I got my first double eyelid surgery at a famous plastic surgery clinic run by a Korean doctor in California. During the consultation, we both confirmed and agreed to make an ‘in-line’ crease that fit my eyes… But once I got out of surgery, my eyes looked super awkward and strange. The crease too thick for my face and they did not balance at all. I was so anxious. The scar was horrible as you can see on the pictures. The surgeon was actually Chinese. Still, I trusted them because it was a Korean clinic. But the next 11 years were pure hell and my self-esteem completely crashed. I don’t even know how I survived those years. So every time I visited Korea, I went around looking for doctors who can fix these. However,the answers I have been getting was that the surgery method I had wasn’t great and they wouldn’t even bother to touch, because the damage was too severe. They said my left eye especially had really bad scarring, and they didn’t know if there was even anything that could be done… It was honestly so hopeless. Then one day, I saw some reviews online and found out about Olo Plastic Surgery and this girl had exactly the same issue as mine and her transformation was EXACTLY what I wanted. Obviously, I contacted them right away. I only stayed in Korea for a short period of time, but they adjusted everything to fit my schedule, and I got a consultation and surgery really quickly. They booked me super fast. For the entire stay in Korea, I was in Busan. So traveling to Seoul was not easy and ended up being late, but the staff still waited for me and didn’t act annoyed at all. The director was also very transparent and took a careful look, and I just felt like I could trust them. When I got surgery back in the day at the LA surgery center, they had cut away too much skin from my front inner corner, so Dr. Jeon told me straight up that getting the exact in-line crease I wanted would be tough. Instead, they said they could lower the line and minimize scarring. Olo was the only place with positive answers with honest side opinions. I also had a consultation about my nose. Genetically, I have this really pointy but wide nose with thick skin, and the doctor told me that my bridge is low and my tip is kind of bulbous, so it looked a bit tricky. I was not feeling it to have silicones or etc., as I know my whole body is easy to be inflamed. So the doctor suggested using my own cartilage to raise the bridge, and for the tip, using ear cartilage or septal cartilage (I forgot the name) to reduce the bulbiness and minimize scarring between the nostrils and columella. Up until the surgery day, they explained everything including the cautions, what to prepare, to me step by step, so thoroughly. Honestly, every single staff member there was incredibly kind and professional. On the day of the surgery, I had one last chat with the doctor, then went into surgery—and seriously, it wasn’t scary at all. There was barely any pain. The only thing I remember is the doctor telling me to open my eyes at the end to balance the lines of my eye crease. And what I’m really grateful for is, my surgery ended really late at night, and by the time I was fully awake, it was super late. I mean, I think it was almost midnight. While I was in surgery, a staff member even went out to the pharmacy to buy all my meds and supplies for aftercare. They got everything prepared for me. She even stayed with me until I could safely get back to my hotel alone. They took so much care of me. I was already satisfied with my result right after the surgery. That was how dramatic it was. I could tell as soon as I got to my hotel room. The swelling went down way faster than I expected. The crease line… honestly, I couldn’t ask for more for the fact that it was tricky to begin. The scars, which I worried the most, they became so natural over time, I’m really happy with the result.

All the staff here are very professional and you will feel welcomed. You will be amazed how much they take care of you. I mean.. they really listen and try to help you as much as possible. My case is very complicated because of the previous eyelid surgery I had back in 2014 by another doctor. I went for consulting with two other different doctors and got rejected. However, Dr. Jeon had confidence on how we can tackle the problems I have and also he gave me realistic advice on the possible outcomes, concerns, and side effects. He is also patient - I had quite a few questions because of the trauma I had from the last surgery in LA.😅 I am extremely excited how this is going to turn out. I have been suffering for a major depression from the previous surgery so hopefully this will bring positive impacts.

It's been one month already since the under-eye fat repositioning (+ a bit of fat grafting). I really like the result. And my friends have noticed that I look fresher. Overall, OLO Clinic delivered on every promise. I felt genuinely cared for, listened to, and understood.
