I got my double eye lid surgery with Dr.Jin Sung Kim. Even before the surgery, he was impatient and condescending when I expressed my concerns. He said how easy double eye lid surgery compared to the other surgeries that he does. I went against my gut feeling and trusted his credentials and the online reviews. After my surgery, I expressed how the eyes were uneven and I got push back saying that they'll definitely even out after a couple of months. It's been close to 6 months and they are extremely uneven. I reached out over and over again and their lack of responsiveness and unprofessionalism is truly astounding. I can't even get a response unless I follow up multiple times. They do not stand before their skills and policy. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Edit: They offered to do a revision surgery with Dr.Yoo who was extremely patient and detailed oriented. The results were great! I'm very happy with their effort to make things right and scheduling me in despite constant changes.

Terrible English WhatsApp communication. I’ve messaged multiple times and have received no reply after initially getting responses. If you get surgery here, expect zero post-op communication if you are an English speaker and depend on WhatsApp to speak to the clinic. Look elsewhere for better admin care especially if there are unexpected complications post op.

Very unpleasant experience dealing with the clinic. Contacted them via WhatsApp for DEL surgery together with my friend. We suggested to create a WhatsApp group chat for the communication which they agreed. Their response speed was acceptable at the start (at most 3 working days). However, after the gc was created, we literally have to chase them for a reply to put our finalise our appointment with them (6 days including weekends). Reason for their late reply is the PIC is away for 3 weeks, how is that reasonable? No coverage? But ok never mind, since they replied and confirmed our appointment, we didn’t pursue the matter and went ahead with them. About one month prior to our appointment, the clinic decided to ghost us entirely. We reached out in 23 Oct and still can’t get a respond in the gc today (4 Nov). Decided to individually WhatsApp them and their reply was “which channel is this?” Like HELLO? did you really forgot about the gc we created? I took a screen shot of the chat to send the clinic (sent on 30 Aug). No reply till today 4 Nov. We have decided to go with another clinic. Reach out to them at your own risk. They may ghost you whenever they feel like it. Being accountable is likely their least priority

In May 2025, I travelled from Australia to South Korea and paid approximately 3,146,000 KRW for upper eyelid surgery at JT Plastic Surgery performed by Dr. Kim Jin-Tae. The surgery resulted in persistent eyelid asymmetry, residual ptosis, and an unsatisfactory cosmetic outcome. I have repeatedly contacted the clinic seeking review and resolution, but my communications have been ignored and contact has been blocked

I underwent upper eyelid surgery with Dr. Jin Sung Kim at JT Plastic Surgery and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. Following surgery, I was left with noticeable eyelid asymmetry, uneven creases, and ongoing cosmetic concerns that significantly affected my confidence and appearance. The result did not reflect the outcome I believed was discussed during consultation. What disappointed me most was the aftercare and communication from the clinic. Within the first 12 months after surgery, I repeatedly contacted JT Plastic Surgery requesting a review of my eyes and an opportunity to discuss my concerns and healing. My messages were ignored and I was eventually unable to continue communicating with the clinic, which left me feeling completely abandoned as a patient. Since then, I have consulted with other surgeons regarding my condition and I am now exploring a full double eyelid revision and ptosis repair to correct the issues that remain. As an international patient, I invested significant time, money, and trust into this clinic and expected proper follow-up care and support when concerns were raised. Instead, my experience after surgery was extremely distressing and isolating. This review reflects my genuine personal experience with Dr. Jin Sung Kim and JT Plastic Surgery. I strongly encourage prospective patients, especially international and revision patients, to carefully consider the importance of long-term aftercare, communication, and post-operative support before proceeding with surgery here.
