I was transferred from Sunway Medical to HKL in March as a fibroadenoma patient. My original admission date was scheduled for 8 May 2026, but my doctor, Dr. Raflis, is very kind and professional—he managed to arrange for my admission earlier on 2 April 2026. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, including the biopsy process and medical checks. The nurses and the surgeon, were very caring and attentive. After the surgery, they consistently checked on my condition and asked about my pain level, which made me feel well taken care of. Honestly, I don’t think government hospital services are bad at all. I truly respect all the doctors, nurses, and staff for their hard work and dedication. Most surprisingly, the food and environment were also very nice—and the meals were delicious 😋😋😋. 5 stars for HKL! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finally, justice for Mom. It turned out to be more of an apology meeting, where we also shared our feedback. They explained what the team had done since day one as well. Sue prepared a full chronology, and I added some comments. We initially wanted to press harder, but we decided to stay calm and composed. In the end, it became an emotional moment and we all ended up in tears, as it brought back memories of our beloved Mom. Thank you to Respy & Onko Team Last but not least patient out there are looking intensive care please, do all ur best to upcoming patients require more cares and attention

I visited the Ophthalmology Department at Hospital Kuala Lumpur today with my father. Overall, our experience was pleasant until we were directed to Section D, Room 19. At approximately 10:09 a.m., when we entered the room to have eye drops administered, the nurse on duty spoke to us in a manner that I found impolite. The phrase “Buka cermin mata” was delivered in a tone that sounded more like a command than a courteous request. As healthcare professionals are service providers, I believe communication should be polite and respectful to ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for. I kindly request that you look into this matter and remind your staff about the importance of maintaining professional and courteous communication with patients. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Yours sincerely, AL

Customer service is truly a horrible experience with HKL. Call, cannot even answer. Make us walk up and down only to say that orthopedic doctor didn't write diagnosis of the patient and we have to travel so far to rectify your doctor's mistake??? On top of that, we have to wait for ages for just ONE appointment and get hand written diagnosis from doctor all over again. My grandfather is 86 years old and you make us walk up and down just because you have no internal records even using his identification number?? This is ridiculous and when I call customer service, they ask me to call back and asked to redirect me to another department. When I call back, nobody wants to pick up at 10am in the morning. I called for more than 20 times as it was an emergency issue. I even explainef to the girl that picked up my call that it was an emergency. I even explained to her about my grandfather's situation and can you believe it? Nobody bothered!!! We are coming from so far, just to get an appointment for a physio therapy in kkm kelana jaya. And this is how you treat an elderly patient? Might as well you don't have a number to call as your service is not helpful one least bit!
